On October 30, the Handover & Maiden Voyage Ceremony of “Chang Xing Long” Ship of CSC Shenzhen was ceremoniously held in Tianjin Global Ro-Ro Terminal. Liu Xihan, Group Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhao Lin, Supervisor of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC)), Chen Zongsheng, Deputy Secretary-General of Tianjin, clients from Tianjin FAW Toyota and Hainan Mazda, and other clients attended the maiden voyage ceremony.
The roll-on/roll-off transport business of CSC Shenzhen has developed into a ro/ro shipping line network covering China's Yangtze River, coastal areas, short sea and ocean with more than 20 ro-ro vessels, and a ro-ro logistics system featuring matched distributions of terminals, warehousing and highway, taking the lion’s share of China's ro-ro transport market. The "Long Xing Long" Ro-Ro Ship is the third one of stall series 2000 ro-ro fleet independently designed and built by China, as well as the first business for ICBC since they carried out financial leasing business. The maiden voyage will promote the development of Group ro-ro transport business and thus drive Group to continuously stride forward towards the objective of “First river/sea ro-ro, globally famous ro-ro”.
